About Us

Trinity Nursery was established under the supervision of Penny Porter, a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, over 65 years ago. The preschool was started as an outreach program by the church to the neighboring communities. Trinity was founded on the basis that it would be open to all children regardless of race or creed. Its purpose then is the same as it is now: to allow each child to grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially under the continuous guidance of experienced and loving teachers. We continue that mission today by providing a place for children and their families to grow and learn together. Our school population consists of children 2 years 7 months through age 5. Over the past 65 years, Trinity has offered the Upper Merion area and its surrounding communities the very best in preschool education.

Our September 2020 opening was done with great caution and care for the safety of the children and the staff during a pandemic. Although our numbers were small, we are happy to say that Trinity safely navigated our children and their families through 2 years of a virus.  We are excited to welcome our new children as well as our returning ones to the 2022-2023 school year.

We are currently enrolling children for the 2021-2022 school year. Trinity will continue to follow CDC guidelines of temperature checks, mask wearing and social distancing for the fall semester. All parents will receive a copy of our health and safety plan upon admission to the school.
