About Trinity Nursery & Kindergarten

Founded over 65 years ago under the leadership of Penny Porter as an outreach ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church, Trinity Nursery School was built on the principle of welcoming all children regardless of background or belief.
 

Our core purpose remains unchanged: to provide a nurturing space where children grow physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally under the care of experienced educators. Today, we proudly serve local families with children ages 2 years 7 months through age 5, offering high-quality early childhood education in the Upper Merion area.

As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit educational institution, our mission is to support the whole child. We foster curiosity, early literacy, foundational math concepts, and social development through structured learning and purposeful play to ensure every child builds a confident foundation for future learning.
 

Active Programs & Services

• Preschool & Nursery Classes: Age-appropriate learning environments designed to encourage cognitive growth, motor skill development, and healthy peer interaction.

• Kindergarten Readiness: Comprehensive early academics, social cooperation, and classroom routines designed to transition young learners smoothly into primary school.

• Summer & Seasonal Enrichment: Specialized group activities and programs that promote continuous growth and community connection throughout the year.
